An entire private elevated guesthouse behind the main residence — bright, welcoming, and self-contained. King bed and queen pull-out sofa (sleeps 4). An air mattress is available if a family of five — two parents and three younger kids — needs the extra space. One full bath. Seasonal pricing — each night billed at its own rate
Stays that cross season boundaries simply mix the nightly amounts. July is closed for bookings. Nightly rates include taxes, and the only add-on is a $50 cleaning fee per stay.
Minimum stay: 3 nights for check-ins January through April; 1 night the rest of the year.

Easygoing stays, clear expectations
We want you to feel at home. A few neighborly guidelines keep El Cid peaceful for everyone.
- 01Maximum 4 guests on the standard setup. King bed and queen pull-out sofa (sleeps 4). An air mattress is available if a family of five — two parents and three younger kids — needs the extra space. Ask when you book if you need the air mattress.
- 02Quiet hours 10pm–8am out of respect for the main residence and neighbors.
- 03No parties or events. No smoking / vaping indoors.
- 04No pets. Service animals only where required by law.
- 05Self check-in via lockbox after 3:00 PM; checkout before 12:00 PM (noon). Code shared after confirmation.
- 06Free street parking — please keep driveways clear.
- 07Treat the studio like a home: dishes rinsed, trash bagged, lights off when you head out.

Good to know before you pack
Is this the whole place or a room?+
The entire elevated studio / guesthouse is yours — private entrance energy, not a shared room inside the main house.
How do check-in and checkout work?+
Self check-in with a lockbox after 3:00 PM. Checkout is before 12:00 PM (noon). The lockbox code is shared after your stay is confirmed.
Why are some dates blocked?+
July is closed for bookings. Other blocked nights are already booked, either through Airbnb or directly on this site. We keep both calendars in sync automatically.
Is there a minimum stay?+
Minimum stay: 3 nights for check-ins January through April; 1 night the rest of the year.
Do you take payment online?+
Yes. You can pay securely by card through Stripe when you book on this site. Prefer to ask first? Send a booking request and we'll confirm by email.
Are taxes and cleaning included?+
Yes — nightly rates already include taxes. The only add-on is a $50 cleaning fee per stay, which is included in the booking total.
Where exactly is it?+
El Cid, West Palm Beach. We keep the street address off public pages for privacy and share it in confirmation messages.
Is there laundry on site?+
There is no washer or dryer in the guesthouse. Rub A Dub Laundry Services is near Publix, less than half a mile away.
What is the cancellation policy?+
Same as our Airbnb Moderate policy: cancel by 12:00 PM local time at least 5 days before check-in for a full refund. After that and until check-in, you get 50% of every night except the first; the first night is non-refundable. Payment-processor fees may not be returned.
Are pets allowed?+
No pets. Service animals only where required by law.
