Privacy policy

• Booking details you enter: your name, email address, phone number, check-in and check-out dates, number of guests, and any message you add.
• Payment details: if you pay online, you enter your card on Stripe's secure checkout page. We see the payment amount and status, but not your full card number.
• Website usage data: like most websites, our hosting provider keeps basic technical logs (such as IP address, browser type and pages requested). If analytics or advertising cookies are turned on (see below), Google also collects information about how you found and used the site.

We don't ask for more than we need to handle your stay, and we don't sell your information.

• To check availability, confirm your booking, and send you check-in details.
• To answer your questions and stay in touch about your stay.
• To take payment and handle refunds under our cancellation policy.
• To keep records we need for our own bookkeeping and taxes.
• To understand how guests find the site and whether our ads are working (only if analytics or ad cookies are on).

• Stripe processes online payments. Stripe's use of your information is covered by Stripe's privacy policy.
• Email notifications: when you send a request or pay, your booking details are emailed to us through an email delivery service so we can respond quickly.
• Website hosting: the site runs on a cloud hosting provider that processes requests and keeps technical logs.
• Calendar sync: we keep our Airbnb calendar and this site's calendar in sync. Only booked dates are shared, not your name or contact details.
• Google (Google Analytics and Google Ads), if turned on — see the next section.

We plan to use Google Analytics to see how visitors use the site and Google Ads to measure whether our ads lead to booking requests or bookings. When these are turned on, Google sets cookies (small files in your browser) and receives information such as the pages you visit, the device and browser you use, your approximate location, and whether you submitted a request or completed a booking. We use this only in aggregate to improve the site and our ads.

You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings, manage ad personalization at Google's Ad Settings, and opt out of Google Analytics with Google's browser add-on. Learn more about how Google uses information from sites that use its services.

We keep booking and payment records for as long as we need them to host your stay, handle any questions or refunds, and meet bookkeeping and tax obligations. You can ask us to delete information we no longer need.

You can ask to see, correct or delete the information we hold about you by emailing lindseyapardue@gmail.com. We'll do our best to respond promptly.

Bookings are made by adults. We don't knowingly collect information from children through this site.

If we change how we handle information, we'll update this page and the date at the top.
